Looking from Mynydd Fochriw towards the coal loading point at Cwmbargoed. On the left, Freightliner's class 66 locomotive No. 66509 starts its descent of the valley with a load for Aberthaw power station, while DB's No. 66151 waits while its wagons are loaded for Port Talbot steelworks.
