Coroghon Castle
Coroghon Castle
Clinging to the side of this high lump of rock, Coroghon Castle is actually a prison. It was built in 1666 by John Macleod of Canna to imprison his daughter and keep her from her lover, a Skye man called Iain. Iain rescued her from the prison and carried her over to Skye.
