Footpath to the University of Brighton
Since 1992 this has been the principal base for the University of Brighton a merger of the former Polytechnic and a number of affiliated colleges. The Falmer campus was generally used as the base for teacher training and now contains a number of halls of residence. The footpath links the campus to the railway station.
