Meet you at Seven Dials
Meet you at Seven Dials
The plinth of the sundial is an ideal spot to rendezvous, take the weight off your legs or check your mobile. The wording on the base records the unveiling of the new dial by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in 1989 during her visit to commemorate the tercentenary of the reign of William and Mary, during which the area was developed.
This is the view looking north into Monmouth Street. The Crown is the only pub remaining out of seven once to be found at this junction.
