Rhuddgaer Country House
Rhuddgaer and Penrhyn was part of the same estate. In the 19th century they were owned by the Owens, a local ship owning family. A 5th century lead coffin inscribed CAMVLORIS H O I (Camvloris Hic Ossa Iacent) i.e. "Here lies the bones of Camuloris" was found near the house.
