Reddish rocks in the cliff near Tal-y-Foel
These rocks are part of the Red Measures of the Anglesey Coal Measures found in a small enclave around Tal-y-Foel (as well as in the Malltraeth area). Normally they are well hidden under glacial deposits, but here the reddish rock has been exposed by coastal erosion.
