Knole's medieval deer park is home to a herd of about 500 deer. The park is about 1,000 acres and has a variety of paths and tracks, as well as a golf course. Apart from those deer which stay close to the house as they know that visitors will feed them, there are considerable numbers out on the golf course as seen here.
