NM7790 : The Loch Morar Corniche

The Loch Morar Corniche
The Loch Morar Corniche
At Sron Ghaothar the path-builders have had to build the path out on a ledge to get past below the cliffs. They were lucky this was possible - just 400 metres south of here the loch is 300 metres deep, going to 310 metres deep at its deepest point. The Eiffel Tower would disappear here, with just its television aerials peeking above the water level.
