SY2389 : The beach at Beer

taken 10 months ago, near to Beer, Devon, Great Britain

The beach at Beer
The beach at Beer
This clearly shows how steep the beach is at this working fishing village on the Jurassic Coast. Having no harbour, the boats are hauled up onto the pebbles by electric winch.

This is the view looking east and the distant headland is Bindon Cliffs and Culverhole Point, on the other side of Seaton Bay. Beyond that lies Lyme Regis
