This Grade II-listed former 'lace-finishing' factory warehouse was built in 1897 for Cuckson, Haseldine & Manderfield by the well-known local architect Watson Fothergill. It continues a gothic theme apparent in all his designs, characterised by a blend of light and blue-black brickwork, towers and turrets. Ahead lies Warser Gate. The hill on the right is Barker Gate.
