Queen Street, Mansfield, Notts.
A view along Queen Street in the direction of the railway viaduct. This 15-arched viaduct, 60ft above the ground, was constructed between 1871-72 and it now carries the Robin Hood Line from Mansfield Station to the next station on this route, i.e. Mansfield Woodhouse. There is pedestrian access to the bus station and the railway station via a passageway at the side of the shops, i.e. near to where the photographer was standing.
