View from Blackfriars Station
View from Blackfriars Station
The long platforms of Blackfriars Station provide a good viewpoint down the River Thames. The nearest bridge is the Millennium Footbridge, beyond that are Southwark Bridge, Cannon Street Railway Bridge, (the ornate entry to Cannon Street station particularly prominent at the left hand end), London Bridge and, of course, the easily-recognisable Tower Bridge. In the far distance, left, the top of the Canary Wharf tower can be discerned.
