NG9038 : Sgeir Chreagach

near to Lochcarron, Highland, Great Britain

Sgeir Chreagach
Sgeir Chreagach
One of two small rock islands in Loch Carron close to the village (the other being NG9139 : Sgeir Fhada, visible here about 1km distant). They are both low-lying and support only the hardiest of vegetation. Sgeir Chreagach is the higher of the two, and here you can find seabirds and seals.
