The Rosemary Centre (a shopping centre) was constructed at the behest of the Cash family in 1906 as a mill for the preparation of cotton. This was then forwarded to be woven in the damper atmosphere of Lancashire.
In late 2023 a local newspaper reported the forthcoming closure of the final store in this parade.
