Boggy Landscape
This weird-looking landscape is undoubtedly the result of the action of ice on the relatively flat-lying impermeable metamorphic underlying rock. The action of a glacier has planed the surface, leaving only gentle undulations where water collects, and the surface is strewn with what are almost certainly erratics dropped here when the ice sheet melted.
