General view of Llanymynech quarry looking south
Nature is slowly clawing its way back even in the depths of this barren quarry. Some of the shadier spots have become very lush but up here in the exposed parts of the quarry (210m) it tends to remain fairly dry. All this area is now part of Llanymynech Rocks nature reserve run by the Montgomery Wildlife Trust.
