New A299 cuts across fields and footpath
New A299 cuts across fields and footpath
Photo taken from the bridge on Golden Hill, a lane linking various small farms. The lane was rerouted slightly and the bridge over the new main road made. An old footpath no longer follows the mapped course, but goes around field boundaries to join Golden Hill and use its bridge. Walkers beware! The marked right of way can be substantially different on the ground.
