Former Hunslet Mill, Goodman Street, Leeds (2)
Two of the three main buildings of this former flax mill remain standing; this one alongside Goodman Street was the warehouse and offices. Built 1838 - 1842 by William Fairbairn (engineer) and John Clark (architect). The remaining buildings are grade 2* listed as "the last and individually the largest of the great flax-spinning mills built in Leeds throughout the 1820s and 30s", which at the height of operations employed 1500 people.
