For anyone interested in locating undistinctive views, as well as the current view Google also has an archive window, and this meant I could switch to the summer view with thick foliage to the winter view I could compare with this. Secondly it may be subtle but there are electricity wires either side of the trees, and one row is lower than the other meaning it is either side of a pylon. Using this data, as well as the single line in the road (half has double), this was the only spot which satisfied all the criteria as it had the thickest woodland and the pylons turned away just after here. It was worth all the work (it took much less than half an hour) to discover it was only the third image taken in this square.
