Pleasant Stile, Newnham on Severn
Pleasant Stile, Newnham on Severn
This is the classic view of the Severn Vale, which was so often included in all old guide books to Gloucestershire. The sweeping view is beautiful and spectacular - and you haven't even reached the top of the hill. The buildings are from left to right:- The Moors, Mutloes, The Staure (just below the trees) and Cockshoot Farm by the road up from Newnham to Littledean. All visitors to Gloucestershire should come here.
