Ffestiniog Railway at Rhiw Goch
On the narrow gauge. Service train from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog about to pass 'Sgt. Murphy' on a late afternoon special. The loop was introduced by the railway to break up the long single-track section of route between Minffordd and Tan-y-bwlch. The station at Penrhyndeudraeth lacks the space for a passing loop.
