Birlingham church
Birlingham church is dedicated to St James. The tower of the Grade II listed church dates from the 15th century while the rest of the building is by the architect, Benjamin Ferrey, 1871-72. The tower of the church used to house a dovecote.

The Perpendicular cross in the foreground dates from 1911 and is by Gerald Cogswell.
