Camellia - Mount Edgcumbe
Camellia - Mount Edgcumbe
Mount Edgcumbe is home to the National Camellia Collection first established here in 1975 due to its ideal micro-climate and soil conditions. The collection is spread over 30 acres in a woodland setting and there is a marked trail for visitors. Flowering is in early spring and this splendid example was seen near the start of the trail.
