LCC by-law sign at Eltham Green Bridge
LCC by-law sign at Eltham Green Bridge, taken 5 years ago
A sign displaying by-laws enacted in 1914 concerning 'Thames and other bridges'. This bridge is over the Quaggy River. A sign evidently made when James Bird was Deputy Clerk of the Council. This must place it at about 1914 also, as James Bird, later Sir, became full Clerk in 1915.
