Wind Farm Access Roads
This is a small section of the 8 miles of access roads that have had to be built as part of the infrastructure for the Scoutmoor Wind Farm. Link
Before building work began this location was just open moorland but now, as the picture shows, the access roads snake their way over the moors into the distance.
A turbine base, with its protective cover on, can be seen on the left.
