Overgrown Green Pond just off the Sandstone Way
These ponds are so overgrown that they are virtually inaccessible , looking from the sandstone way to the west to be depressions filled with trees. One of them is being slowly filled with waste material so they may all eventually disappear. They are quite deep, and look to be artificial but not like a typical farm pond. Possibly clay pits originally?
