Former Leper Hospital of St.John the Evangelist
Former Leper Hospital of St.John the Evangelist
This building on the green in Blyth, started as a Leper hospital, re-founded in 1226, rebuilt in 1446 and had become a school by 1695. By 1964 it was derelict, but rescued and converted using a fund "inspired and established by the late Enid Pegler in memory of her husband Francis".
