Village street furniture, North End, Little Yeldham
The original reason for the shelter was the village pump, which is still there behind the seat, not working. 'North End' is an odd name for this settlement in Little Yeldham parish, being a good deal east and somewhat south of the main village centre. Was it once in Castle Hedingham parish? Then it would make sense.
