Bakers Chest
Bakers Chest
The 'bakers chest' was, maybe still is the name given to this deep 'pool'. Local 'folklore' said that during the times border raids the village baker inserted a large metal ring into the bedrock under the surface of the water to which he tied his money chest in order to keep it safe from border raiders. Unfortunately for him the chest was lost during a severe river flood!!!
