A new development built on the site of the former Airedale Chemical Works. Sadly we don't seem to have a photo of the old works on this website, but SE2833 : View from top of Lock 6, Spring Garden Lock, Leeds and Liverpool Canal shows the site after demolition in 2014, and SE2833 : Holts Crest Way, Leeds shows the houses under construction in July 2015. The road has now been named Holts Crest Way,
