Rivet bench mark above Scarborough 'Spaw'
Rivet bench mark above Scarborough 'Spaw'
A close up of the rivet bench mark alongside the access road to the spa buildings, and near the steps down to the original 'Spaw'. The rivet is still in place set back from the damaged edge of the concrete step, and is not the light coloured round pebble near the edge. The Ordnance Survey database records this as a cut mark not a rivet. See also TA0487 : Rivet bench mark above Scarborough 'Spaw' and for more information: LinkExternal link
