Gawsworth Hall, the north front
Gawsworth Hall, the north front
The half-timbering of this front is simply a facing to the original structure; it may be contemporary with the windows which are of 18th century origin. The door surround is 20th century. The panel with the coat of arms in the right hand chimney is dated 1570, but has been re-set here at some stage. Listed Grade I.
