Statfold Barn Railway - same but different
Two locomotives built by Hudswell, Clarke in Leeds. At the front is Lautoka No. 19, built 1914 as No. 1056. This 0-4-0 ST was the smallest of the Hudswell locomotives used on the 20" system serving Lautoka sugar mill. Now regauged to 2'. Behind No. 19 is Alpha. Alpha is one of 5 P class Hudswell, Clarke 0-6-0PT 2' gauge locomotives. Originally ordered in 1915 for South Africa, the order was subsequently cancelled and Alpha was finished in 1924 and used at Ryam Sugar Mill in India. It was repatriated in 2013 in derelict condition and restored in 2015.
