SC2667 : Silverburn from Castle Rushen

taken 7 years ago, near to Castletown, Isle of Man

Silverburn from Castle Rushen
Silverburn from Castle Rushen
Taken on a telephoto lens it shows the river, the weir and road bridges and faintly the railway bridge. The locomotive Kissack is drawing a train to Douglas over it through the trees.
The left hand bank of the river is about to have a higher wall constructed to alleviate flooding.
