The Chevrolet pickup truck dating from 1930 is a good decade older. By 1930, Chevrolet had for several years been the leading producer of cars in the world. The 7 millionth Chevrolet since 1912 was built on May 28 at Flint, Michigan and the total production for 1930 was 864,243 automobiles.
