Old Tramway Bridge Tintern, Forest of Dean
Old Tramway Bridge Tintern, Forest of Dean
A short private line serving Tintern Abbey Wire Works diverged from the GWR's Wye Valley line (closed to passengers 1959) midway between Chepstow and Monmouth. The branch closed in 1935 but the bridge that carried it over the River Wye survives as a footbridge and is a grade ll listed structure.
