A view from the Pavilion end of the Esplanade looking north on a fine summer's morning before the 'grockles' are out of bed. The beach is raked over every morning in summer to remove any rubbish and level out any major ditches and fortifications built by kiddies the previous day, and the lines left by the machines can be seen here.
