SY9876 : Cliff west of Seacombe

taken 5 years ago, near to Worth Matravers, Dorset, Great Britain

Cliff west of Seacombe
Cliff west of Seacombe
The shallow cave below looks suspiciously man-made, as the durable and desirable freestone is missing, with the roof in weaker strata left, and apparently partly collapsed. The stump on the right could be to do with mooring a vessel during shipping out of the stone.
