SY9876 : Gulls on edge of Seacombe Quarry floor

taken 4 years ago, near to Worth Matravers, Dorset, Great Britain

Gulls on edge of Seacombe Quarry floor
Gulls on edge of Seacombe Quarry floor
Looking west. Some galleries may be seen cut into the cliff to extract the Portland freestone. These were not part of Seacombe Quarry, whose floor comes to an end at a geological fault out of sight round the corner to the right. Near the horizon at sea, the white water is not a shore, but the tide race around St. Aldhelm's Head.
