Chester Castle Barracks War Department boundary stone #7
Chester Castle Barracks War Department boundary stone #7
The Chester Castle Regimental Museum was once the Barracks Block for the Cheshire Regiment. The main building is rectangular facing the castle square, but the perimeter wall at the rear has three faces, rather than one. Each of the four corners has a numbered War Department boundary stone. This one is #7 on the corner to the left of the old barracks gate, and facing St Mary's Hill.
