Carpenters Yard Bridge [No 167], Leeds & Liverpool Canal
Carpenters Yard Bridge [No 167], Leeds & Liverpool Canal
Seen from a boat ascending Lock 37, the second lowest of the six Bank Newton locks. Where possible, canal bridges are often built at the tail of la lock, because it is cheaper than building them in the middle of a long pound.
