SK1892 : Abbey Clough

taken 21 years ago, near to Howden Dean [other Features], Sheffield, Great Britain

Abbey Clough
Abbey Clough
A delightful and very scenic path ascends the clough for Howden Moor. An old packhorse route to Derwent, a village lost beneath the reservoir, which is just visible. Moors stretch away westward beyond Derwent.
