Hull Marina
Hull Marina
The marina on the old Humber Dock at Hull, during the city's Maritime Festival weekend. In the centre of the picture the sails of the Humber Keel 'Comrade' are being used as a backdrop to a small stage on Humber Dock Street, where members of the public are being entertained by the singing of sea shanties. The Comrade was built by Warren's Shipyard in New Holland in 1923 and was originally used to transport barley to Wakefield and coal back to Hull. It is now owned and operated by the Humber Keel & Sloop Preservation Society. LinkExternal link
