22-26 St Owen's Street, Hereford
Nos. 24-26 are a good early C19th house, both enhanced and diminished by Groome & Bettington's alterations in 1910 - they added the central recessed feature and inserted the shopfronts. Grade II listed.
No. 22, Owen's Chambers, is a good early C18th house. Grade II* listed.
Shops included Swinton Insurance and a beauty parlour.
SO5039 : Hereford Cathedral Sadly however the many reincarnations of this west front over the years has left us now with this incongruous neo-Gothic facade dating from 1902-08AD.
