Sloy Power Station, Water Pipes
Sloy Power Station, Water Pipes
Four cast iron pipelines convey water down the steep hillside to the turbines at Sloy Power Station, on the shore of Loch Lomond. Also seen are the remains of the cable haulage railway constructed to bring the huge pipe sections up the hillside during construction in the 1940s.
