This is the end of the bridleway from Danby Botton to where it meets the minor (unfenced) road between Esk Dale and Rosedale. The bridleway has climbed almost 200 metres in elevation from Danby Botton to this point. At left of shot is a bridleway marker post typical of the excellent waymarking on the North York Moors.
