Bog, Blàr nan Lombaidean, Isle of Lewis
The OS Name Book of 1848-1852 describes Blàr nan Lombaidean as, "a portion of broken moor; on a small rise, between Druim Riabhach and Leathad Mor; a portion of which may be considered a marsh, having several small pools on it". However, as the underlying ground is peat, it is a bog rather than a marsh (ref LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) ).
