Castles of Munster: Ightermurragh, Cork - third visit (9)
The east end of the main block with its mullion and transom windows and fireplaces. These upper levels in the main Hall contained a large room on either side of a central lobby, created from timber partition walls. Most of the long lintels of the embrasures internally have been removed. On the left on the second storey, is the fireplace with a Latin inscription on its joggled lintel.
