Wild flower meadow at Nantclwyd y Dre
Wild flower meadow at Nantclwyd y Dre
The gardens at Nantclwyd y Dre have undergone a transformation over the last four years from a wild overgrown orchard to reinstating some of their original features. The garden is believed to have originated as a medieval castle garden as early as 1282 for growing fruit, vegetables and medicinal and strewing herbs for Ruthin Castle. Here is shown the western part of the garden which is now a wild flower meadow.
