Rare thatch
This delightful thatched cottage 'Little Thatch' is a very rare example of a thatched roof in Marlborough. After three disastrous fires (1653, 1679 and 1690) thatched roofs were banned in Marlborough. The 16th or 17th century timber framed cottage is listed, grade II, with details at LinkExternal link
